About

My life-long journey through the creative arts truly began during my time at Parsons School of Design. Despite beginning my career by working in fashion design while in NYC, my love of the arts has since manifested in a variety of forms. One constant throughout all of these years of artistic experimentation, has been my love of photography. It is through this lens that I find a vision of the world that is uniquely mine.

New York will always be close to my heart because it is where I met and fell in love with my husband. We passed each other on the street one day in Manhattan and it was love at first sight. We decided to get married on our first date and just 30 days later we were husband and wife. Despite my incredibly clear memories of that incredible day, my one true regret is not having had any photographs taken of our marriage. This regret has propelled me to relentlessly pursue the use of photography to document all of life’s timeless moments throughout my career.

My style of photography stresses the discovery of natural and authentic moments of life’s mise-en-scene. This French term typically applies to film or theatre, but I like to think of it as the encapsulation of all of the small, true moments of someone’s day to day existence that add up to a complex and full life. These moments are what I hope to capture with your help. Together we can create something beautiful.
