DO YOU TRAVEL?
Traveling is integral to the way that I view the world. My love of travel extends to my work, so I have built static travel fees into my packages in order to keep this aspect of my work simple and easy.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT "SMILE AT THE CAMERA" PHOTOS?
“Smile at the camera” photos are a staple of the photography industry. Let’s try to change that for your photos. I prefer a more in-depth and personal style that truly shows who you are as an individual. Despite this, I will include a few posed, smiling photos in portrait sessions because lets faced it our parents and grandparents love these shots.
SPEAKING OF WEDDINGS; DO YOU NEED A SHOT LIST?
I do ask that you provide a family photos shot list so I make sure no one is forgotten; with that said, working with lists can often inhibit the creative spirit of a shoot. Capturing dynamic moments and interactions happens organically more often than not. We'll work together to capture every important moment and all of the quiet in-between.
DO YOU OFFER THE DIGITAL FILES?
I know the importance of being able to keep and share your photos of treasured moments so I assure every customer that they will receive edited, high-resolution images along with every package we work on together.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL YOU DELIVER?
Rather than aiming for a certain number, I focus on creating quality images that honestly tell the story in front of us. That said, I generally deliver a minimum of 40 polished images per portrait session.
OF THOSE, WHAT PERCENTAGE OF COLOR IMAGES ARE DELIVERED? BLACK & WHITE?
The ratio of color to B&W images changes with every project but you can typically expect up to 85% of your photos to be in color. Despite this, I think that B&W images can make a moment even more striking, especially in less-than-quality lighting circumstances, so you can expect a number of high-quality B&W photos in your package. I am capable of re-processing images in either color or B&W at your request, although there will be an additional $5 added to each treatment.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
You can expect your portrait-session images in a three week time period after the session is completed. I am also capable of delivering rush-processing depending on your needs, although there will be an additional fee.
HOW DO I GO ABOUT COMMISSIONING YOU?
Payment is made on the day of the shoot.
CAN I POST MY IMAGES TO SOCIAL MEDIA SITES AND/OR BLOGS?
We would love that! We ask that you always give credit where credit is due. Give a little Lisa Larson Photo shout out when sharing your images on networking sites and personal blogs. And please never sell the images or attempt to alter the images in any way.
